Over the last few weeks, our Associate Teachers have had the exciting opportunity to visit to a farm, through the context of outdoor learning. The sessions were led by an Outdoor Learning advisor and enabled the ATs to see first-hand the benefits outdoor learning can bring to the children they teach and looked at how to develop these opportunities within a busy curriculum. They, of course, also had the opportunity to have some fun themselves, building dens, meeting the animals and even getting stuck in the mud (if they were unlucky!).
